How members participate in governance.

INNOVA uses digital participation alongside formal Co-operative processes so members can take part in nominations, elections, notices, policy engagement and General Meetings from wherever they are.

Open governance positions are advertised here. Each position shows whether nominations are open, nominations are closed, voting is open, or the result has been confirmed.

DIGITAL NOMINATIONS

How a nomination works.

When a position is open, an eligible member submits the person they wish to nominate. A secure nomination link is created for the nominee, who can accept or decline and complete the required nomination details. Eligible accepted nominations then move into the election stage when voting opens.

SAVINGS GOVERNANCE

Preparing for a broader SACCO structure.

The current Co-operative framework allows INNOVA to organise member savings. As the financial product offering grows, INNOVA is considering an independent SACCO structure so savings and credit services can serve a broader population within a dedicated financial-governance framework and FSRA regulatory oversight.

The next planned governance nomination cycle for the SACCO launch is targeted for January 2027. Positions and nomination windows will be published here as they open.

Savings

Dedicated governance for member savings and future savings products.

Credit

Clear oversight for lending, credit policy and member finance.

Oversight

Stronger prudential governance and regulatory accountability as the offering expands.

COLLABORATION

Formal partnerships help the Co-operative do more.

INNOVA works with implementation partners, service providers, suppliers, institutions, technology partners and ecosystem organisations while member-governance authority remains with the Co-operative.
