Platform Governance
Verification Standards
This policy outlines the verification, publishing, ownership, and operational review standards used across the FindMeSZ and PayMe Hub ecosystem.
This policy forms part of the FindMeSZ, PayMe Hub, and Mela Africa governance framework operated by Outer-Space Investments Pty Ltd.
1. Introduction
FindMeSZ operates as a governed participation platform focused on structured publishing, accountable participation, and reachable profile ownership.
Verification processes help support platform integrity, publishing accountability, operational governance, and user trust.
2. Governed Participation Model
The platform is not designed as an anonymous open publishing system.
Account registration alone does not automatically grant:
- Publishing rights
- Merchant activation
- Payment routing access
- Profile verification status
Certain platform functions may require:
- Profile requests
- Operational review
- Administrative approval
- Ownership validation
- Additional supporting information
3. Profile Verification Standards
Verification processes may include:
- Contactability review
- Email or phone confirmation
- Ownership validation
- Business or event relationship review
- Payment routing review
- Support interaction verification
- Operational governance checks
Verification requirements may vary depending on:
- Profile type
- Payment activation requirements
- Platform risk considerations
- Marketplace activity
- Operational review outcomes
4. Profile Ownership & Listing Relationships
Profile owners are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to the platform is accurate, authorized, and lawfully publishable.
Certain listing types may require supporting parent profile relationships.
Examples may include:
- Business profiles managing event listings
- Personal profiles publishing personal events
- Profile-linked marketplace participation
5. Payment Activation Review
Activation of PayMe Hub functionality may require operational review of:
- Payment destinations
- Merchant participation
- Routing configurations
- Platform activity patterns
- Profile integrity indicators
Additional supporting information may be requested where reasonably necessary to support operational integrity, fraud prevention, or platform governance.
6. False Representation & Misleading Information
Users may not:
- Impersonate individuals or organizations
- Submit misleading ownership claims
- Publish unauthorized business information
- Misrepresent goods, services, or affiliations
- Use fraudulent verification information
7. Verification Limitations
Verification or profile approval does not guarantee:
- Business performance or quality
- Product authenticity
- Transaction completion
- Financial solvency
- Legal compliance by third parties
- Future operational behavior
Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when interacting with independent merchants, profiles, businesses, and participants.
8. Operational Governance & Review
We may conduct operational monitoring, audit review, support investigations, and platform governance procedures where reasonably necessary to:
- Protect users and merchants
- Maintain platform integrity
- Investigate suspicious activity
- Prevent fraud or abuse
- Support legal or compliance obligations
9. Suspension & Restriction
Verification status, profile visibility, publishing rights, or payment functionality may be suspended, restricted, or revoked where reasonably necessary.
This may include suspected fraud, harmful conduct, false representation, operational risk, or policy violations.
10. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect governance, operational, legal, or security developments.
Updated versions will be published with revised version and effective date information.
